Lee Ann Woods is the Principal Advocate & Managing Partner of:  1BLU ventures. 

She is a business & marketing strategist, consultant and advisor. Her work with clients includes: business & strategic planning, market and competitive analysis, operations assessment, product and brand development, sales & inventory analysis, project management, policy analysis, product launch, and licensing development & management.

Woods provides advisory, management, advocacy, public affairs, and project management to 1BLU ventures and related clients' projects and programs.

Woods specializes in Products, Partnerships and Projects: ecopreneurship, sustainable food & beverage, sustainable packaging, regenerative agriculture, biobased solutions, and ocean health initiatives & programming.

Woods’ career began in media & public affairs/advocacy, then continued into promotions & marketing; her award-winning national consumer goods work includes: product development & launch, national and international brand management & licensing. 

Her hands-on experience includes: national marketing strategies & campaigns, project management, public affairs, advocacy, product development, company start-ups, turnarounds, management, and ownership.  She has also provided strategic planning, community & economic development services  to communities around the country.

Woods' love of The Ocean began as a child growing up on the Texas Coast.  She played in, fished in, swam in, boated in Trinity, Galveston & Copano Bays.  She still visualizes her first siting of dolphins - not too far off shore, actually.  One of her favorite 'events' was going down to the piers with her mom and buying shrimp directly off the boats.  And while a great memory is the fishing trip to Copano Bay with her dad on which she caught her biggest Red (27"), her very favorite thing the about The Ocean - Jamaica Beach to Orange Beach to Juan-Les-Pins, FR - is just being near it.  Peace.

Woods holds a BA in Political Science & Communications from the University of North Texas, graduating with honors; and she has a MA in Communications/Public Policy-Environment from Drake University, summa cum laude. Woods also has professional certifications in both Intellectual Property and Regulatory Compliance from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
